Description:
DR Specialist contractor support bridges the gap, providing the required capacity. Is working through the pipeline of work to achieve Enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (eGRC) Enterprise Information Security Policy, along with legal and regulatory requirements. The DR Specialist is vital to minimize the aggregate risk and impact on Clients and related entities from the occurrence of DR Events, focused on the overall viability to survive a DR Event.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for coordinating the planning and the completion of DR Playbooks, conducting exercises, identifying strengths and weaknesses in the recovery strategy, and providing recommendations to improve the business technology resiliency needed to provide recovery and testing results that support investment decisions to implement disaster avoidance and impact reduction strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- ITIL v3 or 4 Foundations certification
- At least 1 ITIL v3 Intermediate or ITIL 4 Practitioner certification related to Incident Management or Problem Management
- 5+ years’ experience using ITIL best practices in a professional IT work environment
- 2+ years’ experience using ServiceNow platforms in a professional IT work environment
- 2+ years’ experience scheduling and facilitating IT-related meetings and compiling and sending recaps
- 2+ years’ experience with composing executive-friendly communications/documentation
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Visio, and Word
Preferred Qualifications:
- ITIL v3 Intermediate Operational Support and Analysis (OSA) or ITIL 4 Practitioner (Incident Management) or ITIL 4 Practitioner (Problem Management) certification
- Most recent job required using ITIL best practices in a professional IT work environment
- Most recent job required using ServiceNow platforms in a professional IT work environment
