SITE Integration Solution Architect

Position Status: Open

Location: US Remote

Work hours: Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM US CT

Number Of Positions: 2


In this role, you will partner with Integration Engagement Managers and be responsible for understanding the business and technical requirements of the engagement. You will translate the business and technical requirements into solutions and level-of-effort estimates for implementing those solutions. You will be in a consultative role with the Business, Infrastructure and Application/DevOps teams, anticipating their needs and applying the benefit of previous experience and expertise to the engagement. This position will lead the overall technical solution from definition to start of implementation while collaborating with other team members and departments to support infrastructure solutions/implementations.


Critical Competencies for Success: 

As an Integration Solution Architect, you will communicate effectively and quickly to gain the audience's trust based on knowledge and expertise. This role has various technical responsibilities, whether it’s Architecture-related or a technical troubleshooting session. There is a large emphasis on critical thinking, having a hands-on approach and being able to troubleshoot complex technical issues. You must possess a strong business/technical acumen and consistently strive to exceed expectations. This position is described as forward-thinking, strategic, collaborative, and determined. You are expected to be self-starters, have integrity, and take ownership when things are unplanned. Willingness to take control of a situation, see it through to resolution, escalate as needed the proper team, and going the extra mile when it may require working outside the box.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead technologist for program, responsible for the technical success of each business partner integration program
  • Influence internal Client Infrastructure Teams to adapt services and processes to better meet integration requirements 
  • Present to Business/IT teams on Client’s infrastructure and hosting services and identify the benefits of hosting and/or integrating with Client
  • Provide thoughtful and innovative solutions to complex technical problems
  • Consider options, design, estimate and communicate solutions and recommendations that meet customer needs and are in alignment with business and IT goals / objectives
  • Produce documentation such as high-level architecture diagrams to support recommended solutions
  • Provide reliable and trusted points of view of relatable customer integrations. For example, how other customers with similar needs have succeeded in their integrations
  • Maintain technical knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to security and architectural solutions
  • Work effectively in a diverse organization spread across multiple locations


Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent
  • 5+ years of leadership and IT business integration architecture experience in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment
  • Broad IT background with knowledge in various technologies, hosting platforms and concepts/methodologies (Examples, general understanding) 


Core Technologies:

  • compute, Storage, Networking, Load Balancing, Firewalls, Desktop Technologies, Infrastructure Architecture, Application Hosting (On-Prem and Cloud) and M365
  • Additional Technologies: IOT, Clinical and Zscaler
  • Familiar with various security/regulatory processes including standards & issues involved in multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications
  • Ability to discuss cloud architecture and principles of modern platforms including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, etc.
  • Emphasis on having a hands-on approach, take charge mentality and being able to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Highly motivated with proven success meeting commitments in a deadline-driven environment with multiple competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to influence opinion without direct managerial control
  • Possess a strategic and critical thinking mindset while maintaining a customer focused perspective
  • Crisp, articulate written and verbal communication skills  
  • Potential of travel up to 10% (US Only)
  • International working hours will be determined based on location/requirements


Preferred Qualifications: 

Over all 10+ years of IT Experience with 2+ years of Lead experience

3+ years in a customer-facing solution architecture or systems integrator role engaging with large high-tech organizations

3+ years of previous healthcare clinical IT experience

Previous M&A infrastructure integration experience

Experience in identifying and cultivating business strategies, drivers and value principles as they apply to enterprise business transformation objectives

Proven ability of developing relationships across technical, management, and executive levels 

Sound understanding of industry standards around data privacy, risk management, and compliance requirements"
